I just bought a new 2020 iMac 27 inch model. My son wanted to play Minecraft so I downloaded for him and he has been playing it. I just set up separate login accounts for my son and daughter. When I login on my sons side and try and double clicks on Minecraft in the
Applications
folder I get a pop up stating Unable to start Minecraft, if you are running from a dmg, please drag to Applications and try again.
It works on my login but not his. What am I doing wrong?

Another way of asking this:
The Minecraft app should be copied to your hard drive, usually in the Applications folder (not just "downloaded")
Is that where the app is installed?
