I curretnly have Backgrounder/Pro Switcher. I've ran into the problem where I can't background an app and have it continue to load. I was waiting ofr a video to load in Safari and I would like to be able to load up another app and use that while Safari continues to load the video.

Do you have a cydia package called safari quitter? This is a mobile substrate add-on that quits out of safari whenever you press the home button. if you have it, try uninstalling it, if not you could try reinstalling backgrounder and proswitcher (tho i prefer Kirikae). If all else fails you could try and download a different web broswer from cydia such as prebrowser (palm pre style) or camel (this is much faster than safari) and see if that works.
Hope this helps

I often use backgrounder when I'm doing a safari download (usually something from UWatch) and it keeps on downloading in the background. It should work fine, whether using Backgrounder alone, or in conjunction with ProSwitcher.
