Multizone Dvd

I am sure this has been asked before but I cannot find a concise answer anywhere. I have just purchased my first Apple with a Superdrive, however I find once I have purchased it that you cannot easily Multizone or reset the Multizone software for playing DVD's (nothing about this on the box or sales pitch online)
Can anyone point me in the right direction to be able to multizone the drive> those of us who have jobs that move us from country to country have a large number of DVD's from the various zones. Very Frustrating

Have you tried VLC ? This video reading software is most of the time able to trick the drive and read zoned DVDs. Of course, it is not a perfect solution, but still better than anything.
