In a tweet yesterday, mnerd says he used the iSSH app ( from app store) to get at a mobile terminal substitute @127.0.0.1

I scored iSSH..pretty cool app

Unfortunately, i can't seem to ssh into this...keep getting connection refused.

Can anyone with iSSH see if they can get into this mobile terminal sub? I'm assuming this is the terminal he had running in his original iPad JB vids..

Thx for any help..

You have to install OpenSSH on your ipad and connect with iSSH on your iphone to your ipad.

Figured it out..

Apparently ssh was toggled off in my SBSettings...geesh

The mobile terminal sub works great, btw

That's a pretty good example of mis-information...

What do you mean by that? My answer comes in very handy if you have openSSH installed and cannot change the password of it, cause of the problems Mobileterminal gives you.

I was just referring to the fact that you don't need two devices of any sort ( be it iPad or iPhone) to change your root password on your device..

If you have a jailbroken device with openSSH and iSSH installed you can quite easily change your root password with that very same device..

Didn't mean to be offensive, just don't see why you would tell people they would need two devices...

Yeah, i found out later that i also could install iSSH on my ipad.
