Hi, I recently installed Apple TV, the new one, the black hockey puck like device. Everything worked great, full functionality. I tied it to my itunes account and was watching movies and listening to music, everything was great. The streaming part still works fine but when I try to play a song on my laptop, running 10.6.5, I'm getting a message, "connecting to Apple TV" and it seems like its trying to stream the music to apple tv when all I want is to hear the song or watch the movie on my computer. I figure its a setting that I flipped on but for the life of me I can't find it. Does anyone know where the controls for that are? Is it the apple tv settings I need to adjust?

Thanks for any help.

At the bottom right corner of iTunes is the Airplay selector. Click it and check that "Computer" is ticked.

Thanks

wow was that simple, thanks very much

hadn't noticed that, it was driving me nuts, knew it had to be there somewhere, thanks again, much appreciated.
