Music App appears to have lost a lot of my album art?

Finally sat down to do some work tonight for the first time since Catalina's launch and I noticed a lot of the artwork that was in iTunes is straight-up missing in the new "Music" app.

Frustratingly it appears just fine if I hit "Get Info" on any given album. So frustrating.

Hopefully 10.15.2 fixes it, as I hate to do too much prodding in there. Might be time to look into getting iTunes back for now.

Same here had to manually re-add all album art

Plus, I lost my personal Play List and had to redo it. Luckily it was on my iPhone and used it as a template to re-add the songs.

Same here, not got to fully fixing it uet either. Quite annoying.. on my phone they all display a wrong image from a podcast.

I upgraded to Catalina yesterday and the album artwork issue was the first problem that I noticed. The artwork would flicker on and off or would be non existent . I left the music app running for a few hours and afterwards, the album art was all fixed. From what I read, it may take awhile for all the album art to return depending on the size of your music library.

Album art is still an issue. I noticed that the system gives preference to try to fetch all the art from iTunes despite the fact that 98% of my media has it embedded. Music 1.0.2 in 10.15.2 still has the same issue.
Part of this might be due to the fact that I have a huge number of tracks. But setting up iTunes it handles all with aplomb even when importing.
I also noticed that Apple TV is really slow with the same thing. And even the Finder seems to have issues.
I finally managed to correctly port my libraries and am leaving the apps open. AMPArtworkAgent is at 100% and has been since last night with no real sign of success.
I would prefer to have the apps give preference to embedded art so I can override Apple's choices.
