Anyone else getting this VERY frustrating bug?
I buy my music on a per-song basis through the iTunes store. But in December I got a 30-day free trial of Apple Music and let it expire. However, now ever since my Apple Music subscription has expired when I tap on a downloaded song on my iPhone's Music app that I've verified, countless times, I've purchased through the iTunes Music Store, instead of playing the song, a sheet pops up asking me to join Apple Music.
It will not let me play the song. And yes, I've 100% checked and verified that I did not download these songs via my Apple Music subscription. These songs are songs I bought and own and show up in my iTunes account as "purchased." I can also play these same songs no problem in my macOS Music app.
What's baffling is this only happens with select songs and I can get them to play on my iPhone by tapping the song above or below them in the list and then tapping the back or forward button in the app. But if I directly tap on the song to play it it will not play and shows me the popup asking me to sign up for Apple Music.
I also noticed the same behavior on my cousin's iPhone (with different songs) and they have never subscribed to Apple Music.
It's so frustrating. I just want to be able to play the songs I purchased!
I'm running iOS 13.3
