so I updated my 6 plus to iOS 9 PB and I see music app consuming my battery in the background where as I don't even listen to music or even run the app. Is anyone else facing this problem?

I've noticed the opposite. After listening to music while mowing my yard, it only showed 4 minutes of music in the background, but should have been over an hour.

I had the same with Music after the update and for about 24 hours. It dropped after a day to a lower number even with regular use. I think its indexing even if you're not using the application its getting ready for you to use it.?

Well, just looked again. (battery usage does not always show) Music is top of my list for the last 24 hours as well as the last 4 days with background activity. I do use the application a lot and you can see that in the line that also says Audio, Background Activity. Not sure what it's busy with but I don't notice a lot of battery usage overall, just a high usage number. I have close to 60% left on my 6+ after an 18 hour average day.

I played one song in Music and it is constantly showing over 20% of my usage since day 1. I've signed out of everything so either something is going on that can't be turned off, or the reading is way incorrect.
