I will do my best to describe this issue as least confusingly as possible. I am experiencing an odd issue regarding my Apple Music app's "Play Later" feature, in which anytime I select a song from my Songs library, the play later option just does not show. So say I select Song A in my music library, queue up Song B using the 'Play Next' option, when I go to queue Song C, the menu only shows a 'Play Next' option. Even if I select Song A from my music library, and song 'B' from a Apple Music playlist, it will still fail to show an option for 'Play Later' on Song C. If I chose song A from an Apple Music playlist, the 'Play Later' feature will show up for Song B, Song C, and so on. If I then select a song from my music library, and clear the queue, I am back to the same issue. I can't imagine its normal that you cannot use the 'Play Later' feature within your own library. I did a restore via iTunes, and then restored my backup this morning. The issue still persisted, so I did a restore again via iTunes, this time setting it up as new, and the issue still persisted. Also, the same thing happens whether I have songs downloaded or not. I am wondering if anyone has any answers for me
Update: after a convo with apple, they stated the option to chose the order of queued songs from your music library had been removed in iOS 10.2! Totally ridiculous

Do you have a systematic set of steps to replicate the problem (i.e. in a list)? It sounds like a very complex problem, and I've never had any issues with Play Next or Play Later, I'd like to try it out.

Chose any song from your music Library as the starting point and start playing. Then chose a second song from your library to add up next, using the 'Play Next' option. After that pick a 3rd song to play and pull up the menu. Ideally there should be a 'Play Later' option because there is already a song in the queue. To test the other part I was talking about, pick an entirely new song that's not in your music library, and start playing it. Then pick a second song, either in the music library or not and chose the 'Play Next' option. Lastly chose a third song, either in your music library or not and 3D Touch/long press it and there will be an option to 'Play Later'

I've tried both, and the Play Later option shows for both. Which version of iOS are you on?

Play Later doesn't appear for me after shuffling by song. Totally annoying.

I have finished a brief test.
I force quit music app. Restart. Previous queue is gone.
I play a song from my library. Then choose a song from a playlist. It shows both "play next" AND "play later" in the menu. When adding a song as "play next", that song is in the first place of queue as expected. When adding a song as "play later", that song is in the last place of queue as expected.
I am in iOS 10.2.1 beta 2 and I don't have Apple Music.

It probably has to do with your shuffle or repeat options, try turning them off and seeing if that helps.

Play Later appears randomly for me. It's very annoying. I realize it likely isn't random, but it certainly seems that way.

I'm just getting more annoyed with the music app with each change they make.
