My new MacBook Pro is showing my Music library as being available in the cloud, while finder is telling me that they are all on my Mac.
How do I make the Music app see them locally without risking doubling the storage space taken up?

Are you not able to play the songs that are available in the cloud? They can be both available in the cloud and downloaded to your Mac at the same time, unlike Photos where you'd have a thumbnail locally and would need to download to view full size.

I can’t. They’ve got the cloud logo next to them as if they haven’t been downloaded yet, which makes me think as soon as I start doing that, I’ll end up with duplicate files and some that won’t show up at all.

Is the new MBP authorized to play the music? What happens when you try?
