Music in cloud only?

I'm trying to clear some space on my Mac Mini hard drive. I'm using iTunes Match and all my music is in the cloud. Can I now remove all the music from the computer (keeping a backup elsewhere) and just use the cloud?

If I delete all the songs from my computer, will they also be deleted from Apple's servers?

You could delete all your music and in theory it would be fine, but if Apples servers ever went down sucks to be you lol

Well so far, so good. I have made an offline backup and deleted everything in the iTunes music folder and everything seems to be working as hoped. I now have an extra 100GB free on my hard drive.
