Music in Smart Stack. What??

I'm pretty baffled by this. So using Music in the smart stack with the medium size it doesn't show you the current song playing and to access now playing you have very small touch targets in the lower right and left corners? And if you choose the smaller widget you can't access now playing and instead are forced at looking at some random song Apple picks to display in the widget?

And why no battery widget option for Smart Stack? Feels like that would be an obvious choice.

Ah okay. Still doesn't solve why the Music widget is so terrible.
