The lock screen controls when playing music are terrible.

Why would they shrink the Artwork for album. Why does it show iPhone? As opposed to Spotify.

Is there anyway to change this or is this the new design?

mine doesn't even work sometimes. my volume up/down buttons most times don't work and I have to manually open the app that I'm using to adjust the volume. control center's been super iffy for me.

Mine is a mess too. It was during all the betas too. If you use the Apple TV remote app, it will also continue to show up on the lock screen as music controls, even if you close the app. iOS 11 is awfully disappointing IMO.
