Music/Now Playing Widget

I've been noticing that the now playing/Apple Music widget notification thing is popping up on my notification and lock screen.
If I force quit Apple Music is goes away and generally comes back again.
Anyone know why this happens? Fix?

This was an issue during the betas and obviously wasn’t fixed properly. I also experience a disappearing music widget on the lock screen, when music is being played.

Mine always forces Apple Music on me so when i actually play something with Spotify i cannot control or even see whats playing until i open and close Apple Music

I am not even using Apple Music and right now I have an Apple Music ”widget” stuck on my lock screen. Maybe some app using audio triggereg it, I have no idea.

On my iPhone, the audio control widget sometimes loses track what I am listening to, even mixing the apps. It might show that I am listening to a podcast using Overcast, but I am actually listening to music using Spotify..

Yep, this is exactly what’s happening to me. Hopefully 11.1.0 fixes this.
