Music on iphone!!

Hi,

Just bought my iphone, and i've loaded it up and everything, but i have a few questions:

1. I have an itunes library with over 20gb of music, they are all ticked, is there a way of unticking them all without doing it manually? It won't let me just drag music over the iphone tab and drop it like a shuffle or something???

By way im using a mac. If that makes any difference.

Either set up some playlists with just the music you want on your iPhone (and tick those playlists in the Music tab), or tick the Manually manage music and videos box in Summary tab in iTunes when your iPhone is connected.

Another question is that i have 86 contacts in my address book, but it has only synced 71.

Is there any reason for this? I have manually synced the contacts but it has not changed the number of contacts on my iphone?

Also how do i get the contacts on my iphone to be sorted by first name?
