Ever since I upgraded to iPhone 3.0 and iTunes 9, the most played playlist and several others in the phone is all messed up. It now composes of seemingly random songs yet in the playlist folder in my iTunes, it shows the correct playlist.
Also, for photo syncing, when I choose the folders I want to be synced to the phone, it doesn't show up in the phone.

I have tried rebooting the phone, restoring the phone, and re-downloading all content but all seems to not work.

Help please?

It's a glitch in the iPhone OS. It only affects how your phone handles Smart Playlists, nothing else. A temporary fix is to edit the playlist and disable "live updating"

There's nothing wrong with your music/iTunes.

Apple knows about the problem so hopefully we'll get a fix soon.

Maybe OS 4.0...
