Everytime I plug in my iPhone to the USB port on my Hyundai it just starts playing music. Is there a way to turn it off? The music app doesn't even show up, although it shows up as playing in the control center.

Car is a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. I was trying to listen to YouTube but it would switch over to the stupid music Everytime it would load a video.

It may be something in the vehicle, not necessarily the phone. My 2013 Honda Accord EX-L does the same thing when I plug my iPhone in. The car knows it's a music device, so it just starts playing, even though I use another app or source other than the stock Music app.

A pretty minor inconvenience if you ask me. A workaround could be having your source preselected before you connect to your and use Bluetooth to stream your music instead of plugging it in. Or even after the stock music app starts playing, just pick YouTube or the alternative app you want to be your audio source.

Cars fault. ALL cars have the worst entertainment systems ever.

My Mazda auto plays and always plays the same Coldplay Song from Apple music. Can't stand Coldplay.
