Hi there,

I have always been very meticulous of my iTunes library (now Apple Music library). Since iTunes is now Music under Catalina some things have changed. One specifically is how search functions within the new app. Before if I was viewing my library as the song list section, my search would populate results in the same view. Now it brings me to the artist page so it makes it much more difficult to see all the info for the specific artist in one view. The only alternative I have is to use the column browser and choose an artist there. If you're wondering why I like to view it this way, as in the picture, I can see new versions of an album I have, number of plays on the older tracks, I like to delete the older music, love the new versions, ensure the plays are the same numbers etc. This makes it much easier to see all the info I am trying to line up.

Is there a way to make search function as it used to or is this just how it is intended to function now?

Thanks and sorry if this was asked before, I can never find something when I use the search function on this site.
