Hi All

I have some mp3's on my MacBook Pro and want to transfer them to my iPhone. All of the web searches that I have started end in "use iTunes", but I cannot find a version compatible with my OS (besides which iTunes has been discontinued).

I dont want to use a 3rd party solution as I feel that to do something as simple as the above, I shouldn't have to.

Any ideas please?

For Big Sur and later, you wilL use finder to transfer your music. Refer to the link above for the basic.
However, if you also subscribe to Apple Music, my suggestion is using a third party player to store your library as otherwise Apple Music would encrypt all your files and make them unplayable when you are offline.

You can transfer your MP3 files from your MacBook Pro to your iPhone without iTunes or third-party tools by connecting your iPhone to your MacBook, opening Finder, selecting your iPhone, and using the "File Sharing" option to drag and drop your MP3 files. After the transfer, you'll find your MP3s in the Music app on your iPhone.
