Just noticed that some of iTunes hit songs, which normally cost $1.29, are much less in its Music Video version at $0.99. Anyone know why?

One example is Rolling in the Deep by Adele. The single is $1.29, yet the music video is $0.99. As far as I can tell the audio quality is the same.

Just a question of marketing.

You can't exactly play a music video as part of a iPod music playlist

No one is going to not buy the video because it's cheaper.

Its also something to take into consideration that often times, the music video does not play the song straight through, and includes a dialogue scene, which wouldn't be on the 'Song' version.

I do know you can play a music video without seeing the video and I believe it can be part of a play list.
