Music won't load up iPhone 6

when I press the music icon app it loads music front page but that's it. I can't access or listen to any of my music. But if I slide up up on the home screen I get the play button and can listen to music from there. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When i push the music icon all I get is picture of a girl and it says "music"

turned my phone own to airplane mode, opened music and voila. switched it off airplane mode, tried again and it seems to be working.
