MusicMount is unique as it gives you access to your music on the device as well as over the net (cool cats only).

MusicMount.org provides an API and tools to access your music from your mobile devices.
Stream directly to your device. Use Airplay/Bluetooth to listen through your stereo or wireless speaker. Share with your family and friends on your network. If your site is accessible through the internet, youll have your entire music collection available, wherever you are!
No complex protocols, no media server setup, no dependencies other than a web server.
How does it work?
The MusicMount tool scans your music folder for MP3 and M4A audio files, extracts metadata like track names, album titles, artists, genres, cover art, etc. It then computes an album-centric model and writes a static web site consisting of JSON and image files.
Once this is done, youll publish your site to a web server. Your MusicMount site can be hosted on a PC/Mac, NAS, Raspberry Pi or even on a wireless drive.

The MusicMount App

- Filter items by genre, search by name/title
- Play an entire disk or individual tracks
- Edit the playlist, rearrange or remove items
- Graphic/iPod equalizer, gapless playback, Airplay, ...
Your remote site(s) will be seamlessly integrated into MusicMount:
- Switch between multiple mounts (your device and remote sites)
- Mix tracks from several mounts in your playlist
- Access very large music libraries (works well with 10,000 albums)
