I just bought a 24" 3.06ghz iMac today (top model in the line, I think?)

I love, love, love, love this thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's an absolute monster! Seriously, the monitor is huge and so beautiful to look at! I've been using both a mb and mbp over the last few years (and my iPhone of course) but I really wanted a monster of a system to anchor my home office and figured I'd go for the gusto. Here's a little picture of my setup :)

Forgive the horrible lighting.. I'm terrible with taking pictures, especially at night. I assure you I went over every centimeter of the display to make sure there were no flaws :p

You sure its not so blazing fast that it set the wall on fire.:D

Welcome to last year. No only joking, enjoy your new baby. It's the best computer on the planet.

Yep, with Apple you're only "the latest and greatest" for a few months before another revision or speedbump renders you 'outdated'. The only thing worse than being outdated (sarcasm) is playing the dreaded waiting game. 24 hours after any update the forums flood with "should I wait?!" posts all over again. Thanks, but no thanks - that's one headache I don't need! :p

I love this thing, I can't get over how incredible the display is. I'm going to all my favorite websites and relishing just how crystal clear and pristine it all looks. I was hesitant to get such a big monitor, but I had heard the 24" screens were really nice... and I must concur :)

24 inch every time unless budget constraints put a stop to that. My wife said it would be too big but I told her that within a day her brain would adjust and then a 17 or 19 inch PC monitor would seem tiny. I was right of course.

Congrats - and I love the kitty in the shadows... and it does look like the iMac caught the wall on fire!

I'm SOOO looking forward to replacing my aging 2004 Dell 15" laptop with the 24" iMac... if the financial markets don't do me in first.:eek::(
