I've had my iMac for a few months now. I feel like when I got my Macbook, I had a long list of accessories I wanted to go with it. I realize this is probably just because it's portable, but I can't think of ANY for my iMac. Did anyone buy any accessories for their iMac to make it more enjoyable?

This is not an accessorie but max out the ram (4GB).

New mouse? iMac has everything you need

I immediately got a new mouse (hate the mighty mouse!), and maxed out the ram. I guess you're right, I really don't need anything else for my iMac...that feels pretty nice. Guess I can start buying nice apps now. :p

Yea spend the money for software. Hmm.. New speakers would worth some money, iMac's isn't the best

I actually don't mind them, I lay on my bed and watch TV shows and movies and can hear it fine.

USB hub?

edit; USB devices I use; keyboard, printer, scanner, ipod, camera, external microphone, usb key-drive, wacom tablet......fortuantely, the two external drives are using Firewire although they could use USB as well

The first thing I bought for my iMac last year was another 1Gb of RAM to make it 2Gb.

Earlier this year I maxed it out to 4Gb and bought some new speakers!

More enjoyable? Nothing necessary. More usable? USB hub. Safer? External hard disk for backups.

I agree, 4gb made my already fast iMac faster! I would also agree to a usb hub my ports are all full.
