I use the same apps, for prob 3 years now.

Anything I'm missing?

Regular apps
-waze
-gmail
-few news apps

That's about it.

Three apps that I use all the time are:
IAnnotate, Notability, and Omnifocus. The latter two are also installed on my Mac and help me manage my notes and my main professional and personal projects. Iannotate is great for marking up PDFs. I recommend these apps to anyone that has to juggle a lot of meetings as well as to university students and researchers. When it comes to my devices, I keep my iPhone for pleasure and my iPad for productivity.

That probably largely depends on what you do. Apps I use all the time (ordered roughly by screen/activity time) are:

Overcast
Transit
MyFitnessPal
1Password
Reeder (for RSS)
Google Maps
Wikipanion (I hate the mobile web)
Fantastical
Camera+ (I only use the editing extension)
Authy (for collecting those pesky auth tokens)
Uber (when walking, bike or subway is not an option)

Other applications that make the phone much better:
Motion Stills (makes live photos presentable)
Lean (to save space)
Dropbox (better file sharing than iCloud)
Bring (best shopping list app)
Prompt (I still use irssi)

Microsoft word, PowerPoint, excel.
Waterlogged, Marvis, living earth, tripview, My Opal, my Optus, Dropbox, Facebook, twitter...
Too many that I cannot remember all of them.

How about Apps that you didn't know your smartphone can do:

Optical Heart Rate - Measures your heart rate by placing finger in front of camera.
Galactica Luxmeter - Measures lumens. How bright environment, objects, light bulbs.
Easy Measure - Point to something and it tells the distance between two points.
Decibel 10th - Noise level in decibel, professional looking. How quiet is your car?

That probably largely depends on what you do. Apps I use all the time (ordered roughly by screen/activity time) are:

Transit
MyFitnessPal
1Password
Reeder (for RSS)

Why use Authy if you use 1Password? 1Password does everything Authy does (and more).

Discussion only 3rd party apps:
  • Reeder
  • Word or Pages
  • Excel
  • Notability
  • OneDrive or Dropbox or iCloud Drive
  • Tubex
  • Workflow
  • PDF Expert
  • Procreate
  • Scrivener

There are others, but these are the ones I'd miss the most.

WISER (only really useful for hazmat responders, but using this or the ERG 2016 app can be entertaining/alarming for seeing what the placards on that tank truck mean).

The free Red Cross Emergency and First Aid apps, just because I think about that stuff.

MyRadar Pro, though I admit there are plenty of equivalent weather radar apps out there.

WikiLinks

Kindle

Amazon Photo

Amazon Music (even though I use Apple devices, I'm integrated into the Amazon media system)

ProCam 4

Purify AdBlocker (again, one of many good choices)

The Photographer's Ephemeris

CoPilot (offline navigation map)

National Geographic Parks Maps

National Geographic Atlas

Google Earth

My Verizon

Speedtest

Lookout

OnStar Remote Link

Fitbit

Instaweb webpage to PDF converter

WidgetCal because it has a month view widget that shows appointments on individual days

I recommend AnyList. This is a grocery/recipe app that my wife and I share. Use it on our iMac, iPhones (and Android if you have it). Share a grocery list, meal plan, recipes. Very useful for a busy family. When you stop at a store, look to see if there is anything on AnyList that can be picked up, and it gets crossed off on everyone's version. Not something fun, but very useful.

Huh, I did not know that 1Password could generate one time tokens, I'll look into that. Thanks
The ability to create one time tokens has been in 1Password since the beginning of 2015. https://blog.agilebits.com/2015/01/26/totp-for-1password-users/

I used to use Authy as well, but gave it away in favour of 1Password. I use 1Password on my Mac as well and it's even easier than having to use Authy as I always needed to have my iPhone with me when I had two factor authentication turned on.
