Hello all.

As the title indicates, I'm going to New York tomorrow.

Therefore, I'd like to know which apps, in your experience, is must haves.

eg. metro apps or offline apps, that work well.

Thanks for any help in advance.

It doesn't look that great, to be honest id rather know about unique resturants, not faceless fastfood joints. Also good bars, clubs, cafes etc. But the metro and travel info would be useful. I've yet to get the 32gb Touch...does anyone else have any further app advice on navigation recommended places..is yelp the best ?

There are a couple of subway apps, but honestly, I'd rather stare at a subway map and figure out my route on my own.

I will also be visiting NYC this month.

i just got back and couldn't have survived without 'offmaps'. it downloads map information from openstreetmap.org onto your phone so you can view your location offline when data roaming is disabled.

you can easily view your location via gps just as you do the built in maps application that uses google maps!

A MUST HAVE!

Do you really use data roaming in NYC? :(

I didn't last year when I went.
