Such a hard decision?
I was just going to get a new 21.5" i3 for £999 when they came out but was swayed into buying a refurbished 27" 2.66 i5 for £1269.
Don't really need the extra performance, but i just love the 27 inch screen when i see them in the mac stores.
Now the problem:
I've been having a good old play with my new system over the last few days and on each ocassion i've had to stop as my eyes were actually hurting and last night they were watering!!!!.
I've done the usual search and tried the usual remedies i.e. turning the brightness down, calibrating the screen and using the mouse to zoom but i just think its the actual size of the screen and viewing distance.
I know i've only got 14 days to return a refurb to Apple so i haven't really got time to "get used to it". Anyone else had similar problems with their eyes on these screens and did they get used to it?
Can i take a refub model back to an Apple store and swap it over for a new base model?
Do i get charged for returning a refurb in the UK i.e. courier and re-stocking?
Any help much appreciated.
