I have a 2006 mac mini that I upgraded to a 2ghz core2duo. It runs Lion just fine but will not load Yosemite. Will it run Mavericks or Yosemite or office 2011 if I upped the processor to something higher?

I guessing: no because of your gpu (Intel GMA 950) vs min= needing early 2009 (Nvidia GeForce 9400M )

Sorry to say, Yosemite isn't an option for that model no matter what the CPU.

There is no point in running anything on that past Snow Leopard. I have one. Give up.

The way to get Yosemite and Office 2011 on a Mac Mini is to buy a 2012 or 2014 Mini.
