My 2018 Macbook pro screen goes half black then goes back on ?

Hello everyone my 2018 Macbook Pro screen will refresh half black screen then roll back to full screen this will happen at random times after turn on or during normal use ?
Is there any thing I can do to diagnose the problem or run a diagnostic program to check what is wrong ?

If you can reproduce by slowly pushing your display all the way open and then slowly forward and back, then the culprit most likely could be a failing display cable in the hinges.
