My 3GS is a week old, just noticed the glass has a tiny crack...

I just took mine in for debris under the screen and they replaced the glass. Chances are that's what they'll do, if they do anything for free. They might try to tell you it's your fault and have you shell out $200 for a new screen. All you can do is try. If they give you a new phone it may or may not be a refurb.
