Being a Canadian, I had a rare chance to have a few minutes with the iPhone today.
The first thing I did was bring up Mail to test out the keyboard. I was absolutely blown away at how it responded. I typed a test email without one error. I even used names, etc (stuff that likely wouldn't be in the dictionary) and it was absolutely perfect.
Then I moved onto photos. Scrolling through those photos honestly made me start to sweat. The sheer speed of loading them was astounding. I did the pinch-zoom trick which totally blew my mind.
Then, it was onto the music. This one was full of music. Cover flow with your finger is more intuitive than I thought.
Finally, I tried out the camera, which was incredibly clear and responsive. Might I say that the screen is absolutely gorgeous. I mean, mind-blowingly beautiful. The interface, along with its functionality, looks incredible on that screen.
Then, my time was up, and I had to pass it on. I didn't much care about iPhone before, but now I really want one, just without the phone functionality.
If the next iPod is like this, count me in.
