My accelerometer has stopped working :(

Rotation lock switch works fine and is off but when I just came to use my ipad it was stuck in landscape mode. I turned it off and on again, now it's stuck in portrait mode. Bad times

Has anyone else suffered this problem?

Edit: in star maps app it doesn't work when tilting etc, but in magnetmeter it shows the accelerometer is at least working as is the compass, it's just not rotating the screen when you tilt in all other apps/springboard

Send it back to apple and get a replacement.

Swing by an Apple store, they'll swap you out/hook you up in a quick minute.

I was just about to do a software restore, as soon as i plugged in the usb lead it started working again...

If its an intermittent fault im gonna be a bit buggered to prove it to apple that its duff
