I'd like to see more control over my music to justify the spend. Perhaps left ear Siri, right ear music controls
I’m fairly sure this was mentioned in one of the leaks as a feature, but hopefully as a firmware update for all Airpods. I’ve only just managed to get my hands on some so I’m hoping that the update is just to help Apple produce more of these amazing devices.
This actually could make sense. It depends also the design of This charging mat/dock as well. Although, Lightning would be my preferred method.

I'm glad that's the only update though (+ the external relocation of the LED), & NOT more colours nor Bluetooth 5.0, or else I'd be tempted to sell my whites & go for black.
I think it's just a stand alone case you can purchase. Doesn't ship with the AirPods as a set.
In terms of when the case will be available, no one knows sadly...might be even 2018 since that's when the AirPower ships.
That was my thinking too - picked up a pair today. Really like them so far - they feel they might fall out, but the don't!
