My Airpods Max have dementia!

For the last two weeks, my airpods max need to be re-paired every time I want to use them! They just disappear, they forget my phone (iPhone 12 mini) they don't show up along with the rest of my airplay speakers. I tried a hard reset (the 15 second thing till it flashes white) then it works but after a couple of hours it need to be re-paired again! this is frustrating! I don't get this. They used to work flawlessly for months! does it have something to do with the latest update? is anyone having a similar problem?

This is happening to my AirPods Pro, but my AirPods max is working fine. I think this might be 14.6 issue.

I think you're right. I think it's an iOS issue because they work fine with my mac. the problem is only with my iPhone and it is sudden in onset so it probably coincided with when I updated to iOS 14.6

Only temp fix for is to reboot the device and switch bluetooth off and back on. Not ideal but it will until apple fixes this bug.
