I recently took up digital photography earlier this year and was wondering if any of you guys could take a look and give me some comments/critiques on my work. Thanks!

a lot of it lacks any feeling...its like me taking a picture of a remote or something. A picture should have some purpose.

Not a bad start, but composition is too consistent. move things off center, work on triangles, learn about composition...

I agree with the composition comments. Learn a few basics and experiment! I think the telephone pole could have benefited by being off center (1/3 to the right or left, to start off with.)
Enjoy your new hobby!

Thanks for the great advice guys! I know I have a problem with center-weighting my photographs and not framing/composing them in a more interesting manner, it's something I have to work on in the months to come.
