Hi everybody,

Does anybody have the same experience with me? My app was submitted to app store on Aug, 13rd. I was told that my app was rejected because of some reason on Sept, 3rd, so I fixed it that day and resubmitted on Sept, 3rd. Another 2 weeks past, my app is finally ready for sale today... It took me 36 days in total.:mad:
So once your app was rejected and resubmitted, that means you need to wait in the same way as you submit a new app.

My app Hourglass Timer info:

Hourglass Timer is a unique timer different from all the other timers on the App Store. It supports switching between portrait and landscape modes automatically when you hold your iPhone or iPod touch horizontally or vertically and shows you a timer with clear numbers and an animated golden hourglass. While the time is running, the sand in the hourglass is falling, which let you see the passing time vividly.

If you are interested, I can give you promo code to review. ;);)

It looks pretty cool. I presume that since it's an hourglass timer, it only supports countdowns and not counting up, right?

I'd love a promo code, will be willing to give a review.

Let me know, thanks!

Yeah, that delay sounds about right. Took about 2 weeks for each iteration of my app. Now I'm waiting to see if updates take just as long or if they move through a little faster. I was actually surprised that it only took two weeks per submission as I was expecting it to be a month or longer. Since it's kind of time sensitive, I was pretty thankful it made it through that quickly. I was also surprised by how easy it was to get my app into the store. The first submission was kicked back for a single, easily resolved problem. That was it. Go figure.

No, it supports counting up. I've sent promo code to you via PM.

It took only one week for the submission of my first app. So I felt 1 month was too long. :D

Hi there,

Thank you for all the comments.
If you'd like to review, just sent me a PM, I'll send you a promo code, but the code is limited, only 5 left now.

Congrats -- the submission/review process can be frustrating for sure. I think Apple means well, as sucky as it can be for both devs and users. :\

Hi samcraig,

I've sent you a promo code via PM.

BTW, all the promo code were sent. No promo code now :D
Thank you for your interest, everybody.

I wouldn't consider it 1 month but more like two separate 2 week periods. Whenever you resubmit you go to the back of the line like everybody else submitting. It's not the best situation but that's just how it works right now.

Would love to try it out and do a review in exchange for a code.

Does it work when you have an external display plugged into your iPhone/iPod touch?

Nice app

My only "issue" is that the flipping animation is flawed in that it's not smooth. When it flips - the frame it ends on is not the same as the beginning - so it "stutters" in appearance. Not sure if it's because of the position, shading of the graphic, or what. But it would look a lot "cleaner" if the timer rotated completely and seamlessly without this "glitch"

Yes, it has the issue, because when the sandglass flips, the animation of falling sand grain repeats. Currently, I have no way to rotate it seamlessly.:( I'll try to improve it in the later version.
