iTunes indicates "1 Update Available". When I click on the Update(s) Available link at the bottom of my applications page, it takes me to the "My App Updates" page. In my case, it shows one (1) update available. I then get the following message:

SHAWN (wk*&$%fj@yahoo.com) has no updates currently available. To check for for updates for another account, sign in with that account.

This happens to be the only iTunes account I have. My iPhone is a 3Gs 32Gb, running software version 3.1.2 and iTunes 9.0.2.25

I have no idea why iTunes shows I have one update available, and when I try to download it, there is nothing there. For what it is worth, my iPhone shows no updates available when it is not connected to iTunes.

I am at a lose, and would like to reconcile the discrepancy

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

When I've had this it's because I have an app or two that were purchased on another iTunes account (whether it be mine or someone elses) and signing in using that account and checking for updates allowed me to update the app.
