hello I was just looking online and I saw that my app was pirated is there anything i can do to prevent it from happening again or someway get my app "unpirated"?

Thanks

Personally, I'd be flattered if I discovered my app was pirated, that people actually know about my app :)

Hate to say this but all apps will be pirated. I can list the reasons why but most just want to try the app. That's why there are lite versions. What'll would be best is have your app set as low as .99 or free and have your content as an in-app purchase. That way you still have revenue. ex. For games, you'd have level packs, episodes. For a $1.99 game, set your game as .99 initially with some content and have the rest of the content purchased as an in-app. That way if it gets pirated, you only lose .99 cents and the rest of the content will have to be purchased if you want to complete the game. For utilities or other apps, create upgrade modules to enhance your app. One example is iTranslate. It's free but if you want to add the speech modules, you have to pay. There are also over 10 modules on this thing and new ones come out. I'm not sure if pirates were able to steal the content from the server w/o purchasing it first.

Be creative. Put in crack checks that degrade the game after a few levels. Or make it play in demo mode.
