I just wanted to share this:).
OK, well it's not technically the :apple:tv, but it certainly counts. It's actually a 15" Studio Display from '99 or so. It happens to function as a TV/monitor because it has A/V inputs on the rear. To actually watch TV you'd need some kind of tuner like the DTV thing (which our main TV is using). Currently it's hooked up to my PS2. It has no speakers so you'd need external ones, too. Either way, it's a nice, unique display. Anyway, pics:

Are you aware of what an tv really is and does? Or are you simply trying to say that an Apple display used as a television screen could be dubbed as an "Apple TV" with no regard to what an actual tv is?

I was referring to the latter. I do in fact know what the actual one does, but it's like using a TV tuner with a Mac, which would in effect gain the same label.
