I have an issue with the my AT&T app the other day I have the extra security code in the account when I tried to putting in when it asked me to put it in I got an error saying passcode incorrect if you still don't know it contact AT&T after I rebooted app and inserts the same passcode I got in is the issue with the app or my internet network connection, server ?

I used to see alerts on which lines was available for upgrade in the my AT&T app now I don't see which lines are available for upgrade I have to manually find out which lines are available for upgrade why did the notifications go away is there anyway to get them back so I see them every time I log in ?

It could be a combination of issues, but, my guess is you were typing it wrong. It could have been a server issue, but AT&T is a very large company and doubt they had an issue like that.

The app was likely updated and dropped that feature. Try poking around in the settings.

I did put the right passcode what you say it could be a server issue maybe that's it

do you think after I added extra security to my account did that made the notifications of which lines are available for upgrade go away is that why I don't see it anymore

I've inserted in passcode before where I thought I was right, but wasn't. My fingers typed a character next to it. What gets super annoying is when I do the same mistake mutiple times.

Not ruling out an AT&T issue, or your internet. Maybe the connection got dropped or your internet clunked out for a second and clearing the app and restarting it made a new connection.

Your iPhone is fine, however.

Why did the notification in the app saying which lines are available for upgrades go away. Do you think after I added extra security feature to account did that make the notifications go away? now I'm forced to manually find out which lines are available for upgrade

Likely nothing you did made the app notifications go away. Check the settings of the app for notifications.

After i chatted a week back with AT&T chat to add extra security feature the notifications went away saying which number are available for upgrade is there a setting in the app I can change to get the notifications back

Likely not. Again, check the settings on the App. The extra security is well worth losing the notification. You can still check your upgrade status, it may take a few more taps on the screen.

I see now maybe after I did that change that's why I don't see notification of which lines are available for upgrade

Luckily I can check for upgrades Manually it takes a couple of minutes it's well worth it
[doublepost=1469384439][/doublepost]Other question maybe you can answer for me I will be ordering the new iPhone in the fall via apple website on my carrier AT&T do I just logging to my main account with username (phone number) and my password then do I just choose the lines I want upgrade I have 5 lines in this account

When ordering, it will guide you through the steps. I haven't heard of anyone that has messed up the process unless they click on the wrong number.

It should, yes. Hopefully another member can chime in.
Thank so much for answering my Question now I wait for when there going to release it and when I can preorder since I'm in the east coast they should do it at 3 am est 12 am pst

I already know which lines are avaliable for upgrade

I would recommend buying it in Store, so that way you can inspect the device for any issues.

I should but I'm doing the next plan I rather Order it online so my dad gets it at his office I will be ordering him one and me one
You can do the NEXT plan at the Apple Store. Plus, you can surprise your dad with the phone and bring it to his office.

**Not responsible if you actually do this and the store does not have enough supply.
