My ATV2 does not shows up in iTunes

My ATV2 does not shows up in itunes. Home share works fine. I am also able to see my itunes in my TV thru ATV. Itune ver. 10.2.2. ATV2 ver 4.2.2. I have already tried those things that are stated in apple's site, like turn off ATV, Turn off router, log-off itunes, reinstall itunes, hardwire ATV to PC, etc. Also tried UDP port settings, firewall turn off/on, etc. No luck yet. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

maybe I'm confused about what you're asking... but why would you be able to see your Atv from your computer? There is nothing to share from it since it is streaming only... just like when you use home share you can't see your ipad/ipod/iphone either.

Is that what you're asking?

The second generation Apple TV is not supposed to show up in iTunes like an iPod, iPhone, or iPad. The only place it should appear, is in the AirPlay feature.

I was under the impression that ATV2 will be showing up in iTunes.

I want to JB my ATV2, that is why I am looking for my ATV2 to show up in iTunes.
