so i got a new g5 in jan. i've never used a mac before so i need help. i was trying to listen to music and no sound came out. so i tried other programs i know that make noise and nothing... how do i fix this? i've dont the sound testing on the speakers (the klipsch package that i ordered with the computer) and they work just fine. i've checked the connections several times too. any ideas?

EDIT: duh i am retarded. somehow the computer had reselected the built in speaker as the output instead of the digital optical.... no worries, i figured it out. thanks anyway
