Procedure:
- iOS 9.0.2 @ iPhone 6
- VDSL Telekom (Germany) real 50/10 @ ac-WiFi
- Have not deleted caches. Refresh up to 20 time per site and blocker till i get 5 measures without outliers
- traffic not noted if no changes - except: amazon
- Purify 1.1.1 Settings: Everything turned on, except Images and Scripts
- 1Blocker 1.1 Settings: Everything of the paid Version turned on
Conclusion:
- 1Blocker is 13 %-points faster than Purify
- Purify save 4 %-points more data than 1Blocker
- 1Blocker produce more white space
- If i use Purify, the finished sites feels often very juddery when i scroll
I will use 1Blocker cause the thing with juddery scrolling nerves. maybe it has something to do with the white space.
l have read somewhere you can't delete white space with some general rules. its dynamic, depend on size of the the whit space. can anyone correct me?
Update 1: seems to be fixed with iOS 9.1, but i stay with 1blocker
Update 2: don't want to repeat this test again with 9.1 but i checked two sites and it looks the same.
purify save a little more data and 1blocker is about 15% faster.
btw. it was the last time i used numbers. its a pain! no-one can tell me apple use numbers for their business
