After scoffing at others complaining about their black screens via HDMI, I flipped on my TV last night and scrolled down the HDMI input list only to discover a black screen. Would not respond to keyboard or touchpad and I finally gave it a power cycle -- no luck.

Went back to the TVs bluetooth remote only to discover I had inadvertently scrolled down to an unused HDMI input. TV and Mini were working perfectly, my brain was not. While I don't doubt that there are legitimate gripes about HDMI issues, there are also a number of problems related to user-error.

I'm glad you fixed your problem however the black screen issue being reported is an intermittent one not a perpetual one like it would be in your case. In your case it was operator error.

However the issue most are having is when the screen goes black or snowy for a few seconds and then comes back on, hardly any room for operator error.
