It’s big, reachablity shouid be used a lot more now!
Reachability would be very annoying to use with a case... you gotta be pretty close to the edge of the screen when you swipe down. Then the edge of the case would block your swiping motion.

They made so u don’t have to swipe all the way down to activate it. I use to use it a lot with the plus..

I got my case also since preordering but canceled on the max phone because it’s just as big as an iPhone 8 Plus (but much taller to reach the screen top) , so there’s no one handed use, period. The larger screen phones feels much more fragile like caring around a big piece of slippery glass even though I have large hands. A case only makes it bigger.

I think all this one handed panic is a bit ridiculous — should be easy w google positions their search bar at the bottom now and many other apps.

Not When you have something else in your hands like a bag of groceries briefcase pretty much anything.

Uh.. seriously! That is when you put it in your pocket. I carry my phone and usually a computer case, along with a cup of coffee or fountain drink almost daily. I slip my phone in my pocket (plus size) or into the pocket of my computer case. This is all much to do about nothing! I've been using Plus phone since iPhone 6 Plus and while it clearly more difficult to use one handed, it's doable with the right case. I can't do it with them not in a case because they are too darn slippery.

That would be the smart way to go. Everything on bottom.

Have to have a case! I just can’t wait for how good porn is going to look. Oh wait can I say that.:D

I've also noticed with my XS Max case that the width & height of the phone is slightly shorter compared to my 8 Plus, which I'm extremely happy about!

Not suppose to be noticeably. Guess it’s good coming from an X then..

I never use my phones one handed so not too worried about the adjustment from the X to Xs Max.

Walking somewhere holding something else, car, with ur honey. Many times that can be put in a one handed situation

No I know there are situations, I just mainly use two hands so it doesn't impact me as much. I am kind of used to it at this point is all.

^ Same here. I can count one hand the amount of times I'd had to use my phone one handed.

I would never be able to use the Max, or even my existing Plus one handed but I'm ok with that.

If I can't use both hands, whatever I'm trying to do can wait until I can put down whatever is in my other hand...or I also have my Apple Watch as needed as well.

Agree. I figure if I can't use two hands comfortably, maybe I shouldn't be using a phone at that point. I can also just use Siri on my Apple Watch in a pinch.

Good point. When I had the X, I found myself using with two hands. Then thought, if I’m going to use two hands, I might as well get a bigger screen.
