My catagories are not showing up in catagory apps

I wanna delete a bunch of apps i never use off my phone. The catch is they are all in categories and when i click on categories it gives me the "welcome to categories!" message like i just downloaded it. The app is empty, void of my four folders and 200 apps.

Can I just sync my phone with my computer after deselecting the apps I no longer want using itunes? I feel like i read somewhere that you have to remove them from the category before you delete or bad things will happen.

I don't know, but I was thinking the same thing as you, uncheck in iTunes and sync. But if Categories is not working properly, you might try to uninstall and reinstall it.
