I’m excited, but at the same time, I typically wind up with an earache after wearing the original AirPods for even a short time, so I’m just not sure what to expect. I am reading on here saying people are struggling with ear pain from these as well. I feel like when I tried them in an Apple store a while back, they felt pretty comfortable in the ear, but of course that was only for a minute.

Also, how do you turn off the noise cancelling? My daughter has her pair and is struggling with getting it to stay off.

Congrats!

I wouldn’t stress over online comments. They fit most people comfortably, but you just don’t hear from them online as they have no reason to enquire about any issues. Online forums are primarily a place for people to get problems/niggles fixed so you’ll find the negative comments outweigh the positive.

With Noise Cancelling (NC), you have a number of options...
1) Press & hold the appropriate AirPod stem (Left, Right or either, depending on how you’ve assigned their functions).
2) Say “Hey Siri, Transparency”, which will switch off NC.
3) On your IOS device’ Control Centre, press & hold the volume icon & select a mode other than NC.
4) & in your device Settings, but this is the least efficient way of doing it, so ignore.

So is any one of these gonna make it go off and stay off until you turn it back on yourself?
