So recently I caved and purchased a set of Pro's. I am quite glad I did, as the sound quality is a great step up vs the Gen 2's. But one thing has been eating at me. Tip fitment. I seem to have an issue with single flange silicone, regardless of brand. They just will not stay in my ears.

Naturally my first thought was to try some memory foam tips, as they tend to stay in well, while only muddying the sound a bit.

I purchased a set of cheap foam tips off Amazon just to try. When they arrived, I was playing with them a bit and managed to separate the foam from the plastic base that mounts to the AirPod. This gave me an idea...

I took a stock silicone medium tip, flipped it inside out, and gently pulled it through a small memory foam tip, until it was all the way through and mounted at the base.

Now I had the best of both worlds. The fit of memory foam with the lack of bass muddying that silicone offers. They still fit just fine in the case as well.

Figured I would share my experience and results, for any of you in a similar predicament, should you wish to try.
