Dang, and I just had another one pop up!

OK, got the new MBP. Charged it yesterday, had a migraine and couldn't play till 4am today (because i went to bed so dang early last night!).

I just downloaded Coconut Battery.

It says that my Current Capacity is 6844mAh, and the original capacity is 5500mAh. Um, ok - so i'm guessing it's not right?!?! I have been running on battery since 4am (6:20 right now),lost internet for about an hour of that - and it says that i have 45% left. I could very much live with this battery life if it stays :D

THEN, the load cycles said 1. That jives. BUT, when i just clicked over it changed to 2???? I'm running on battery right now... so how could it jump?!

Off to find the fan/temp thing you guys "rave" about now :D

Sounds like that app is bogus. Why does it even matter, is it not holding a charge or something?

Ahhh, thanks - yup, 17"

So it's still high for that one - but that makes me feel better. I just discovered that i can change it to 6500 too, cool!!

See, and i'd forgotten about the fan thing - got sidetracked :D

The app isn't bogus - reports the same info as Apple has on the System Profiler.

It doesn't matter - it's just a geeky thing to check out. And, that meter is a more accurate way of knowing how much battery i have left as I learn a new computer.
