As some of you know, I got an iphone 3G 16GB black in October. I've had 7 replacements so far. Problems include Crocked buttons, uneven glass, dusty screen, bad battery... So that adds up to seven replacements. Well 2 weeks ago, my WiFi chip died. So last night, I called up Steve's tech support, and asked to speak to customer relations. So I did. The rep said he wanted to make it right this time. So he said instead of a refurbished replacement iPhone 3G, I would get A BRAND NEW iPhone 3G 16GB. I got to ask to go from black to white. So then I get an email from the Corporate Customer Care Administration at Apple. He sent me some forms to fill out, and it said I would be getting a "MB716LL/A: IPHONE 3GS 16GB WHITE"! It was rainy, and I couldn't hear on the phone very well, but I swear the rep said i would be getting a 3G, not a 3GS. But I want the 3GS, and I didn't even ask for it, and I'm getting it, apparently. I filled out the fourms, and it will take 3-5 days for them to send me a NIB iPhone 3GS 16GB white. I didn't even think I would be upgraded, I thought I would be getting the same phone over and over. This is what I LIVE ABOUT Apple! I just wish they could make things that just work! Again. It would save Apple and I time, and them money.
